ROBUS wins LIAQA Award For Consistent Quality And Compliance
ROBUS recently attended the LIA ([Lighting Industry Association](https://www.thelia.org.uk/)) awards where we picked up the LIAQA award For Consistent Quality And Compliance. The LIA, which is the largest trade association in Europe is dedicated to serving the UK Lighting industry and its supply chain to develop quality, safety and performance of the UK Lighting Industry.
ROBUS have been long-standing LIA Members, always active in our engagement with the LIA attending Academy courses, LIA Technical Forums, events and webinars as well as using the LIA Laboratory services. Our whole company has a thirst for knowledge with over 50 members of staff registered on the LIA website for access to information and documentation.
We always embrace the annual LIAQA audit. Our dedicated team at ROBUS always strives for excellence, and the LIAQA audit serves as an opportunity for us to identify areas of improvement. We maintain comprehensive technical files for each of our products, ensuring that all necessary information is readily available.
This is the second year we have been nominated for this award, and it is the continual improvements made by the Technical and Conversion Department that brought home the award this year. The ongoing improvements with quality and knowledge at the forefront of what we do, making ROBUS a deserving winner of the ongoing commitment LIAQA Award.
The LIA noted the reason for ROBUS’s nomination, ‘Recently, what was a small in-house workshop has been expanded into a modern production facility allowing customer requirements to be implemented quickly and efficiently while still operating in a quality-controlled environment. The ongoing improvements with quality and knowledge at the forefront of what they do make Robus a deserving winner of the ongoing commitment LIAQA Award.’
